It took 3 years or so, but finally I got to meet up with my son, Tyler. It was so bizarre! I wouldn't have recognized him! He looks great and we just hung out for the whole day.
At the end of the day, he came in and saw his nanna and grandad for the first time in about 4 years too!!!! A monumental day by all accounts. He seems to be a well-rounded young 19 year old man.
He has his own car and has been driving since he was 16. He is working at The Keg on Wellington Rd and seems to have his head stuck on right.
I have some pictures as you can see. He is so big. He doesn't weightlift or anything, just a big boned man......lol. He said that he went to the gym for a while, but started getting too big........ funny again.
The other pic is one of a restaurant that is round the corner from where I used to live. We always used to joke about the name of it and well, there it is. Anyone want to go to the Fukee Restaurant?
Tyler likes sports and plays football(English style) and also likes to watch boxing and the UFC and the like. He is a good talker...... like his dad and we had a good gab about almost everything.
It was surreal at times and we both said the same thing. I think this is the start of the relationship that we have both been waiting to start........ cheers to that and to a bright future. I love you son.
